Theft of Property Arrest

December 10, 2008

Troy Police arrested two people Tuesday in connection with the theft of over $200,000.00 from Badcock Home Furnishings in Troy according to Chief Anthony Everage.

The two are identified as Angela Holloway, 36, from Luverne and Justin Bradley, 24, from Troy. Both individuals are former employees of the Troy business.

The thefts occurred between December 2006 and December 2008. Store officials reported the incidents to TPD Tuesday morning and Holloway and Bradley were arrested at approximately 3:00 p.m. that afternoon at the Troy Police Department.

Both suspects have been charged with theft of property first degree. They allegedly took cash transactions and placed the sold merchandise on false credit accounts.

The owner of the business franchise cooperated with Troy police to show how Holloway and Bradley were stealing money from his business which led to their arrests.

This case is still under investigation by Troy Police Detectives and more charges may be forth-coming. The two were transported to the Pike County Jail Tuesday afternoon.
